The Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP) is one of ICAO’s priority programmes designed to enable the State to ensure the implementation of ICAO's safety-related Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs), associated procedures and guidance materials.
ICAO conducts USOAP Continuous Monitoring Approach (CMA) on-site activities in Myanmar from 10 December 2018 to 21 December 2018.
The opening ceremony of the USOAP Audit was held at the Civil Aviation Training Institute (CATI), the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Yangon on 10 December 2018. Following the opening ceremony, ICAO Audit Team paid the courtesy call on the Deputy Union Minister of Transport and Communications, Mr. Kyaw Myo.
